Catching up

I've officially moved into my new house. Well it's Greg's house, Ray and I are just helping him make his morgage. We have the entire upstairs to ourselves. It consists of a bedroom, bathroom, walk in closet (its huge... it's like it's own room in itself), and loft. It's like we have our own apartment up there. It's nice to have space and privacy. I love this house.
I've also got a new car to replace the one that the "pothole" totalled. It's a black oldsmobile alero. Cute little sporty car. It has a 3.0 liter V6. I like the little kick it has, since I've been driving a 4 banger for so long.
My grandmother passed away last Saturday. Being the good irish catholic she is she left this world hand in hand with the Pope. I just returned from Long Beach, California where we had the service. It was a small intamate group of us. It was a very good service. We shared all of our fond memories of my gandmother Molly, and we had the reception at her favorite resterante. Of course I am extremely sad to have lost my grandmother, but I do feel some relief. She was tired of the pain and of the steady loss of control over her own body. I can't help but feel she is finally at peace and no longer hurting. I don't know what is out there for us in the after life or if there even is an after life. I just hope where ever she is she is happy.
