Reputation rules all I guess

My best friend just informed me that she will be returning to Canada once again this summer. I mean moving back. Her mother is very ill and is not doing well anymore. It's good that she is going back. I'll miss her like crazy but she needs to be with her mom.
Her mom was suffering from renal failure and hard to control diabetes. She stayed in Canada for the socialistic health care, and was on a donor's list for pancreas and kidneys. She recieved the transplanted organs she needed. All seemed to be well, but the doctors had messed up. Come to find out only 15% of her kidneys are working and the her pancreas is dying as well. Now she is stuck in a political warfare between physicians. She wants to go to another city for thier doctors because of their history of great work. The doctors she has now do not want her to leave so that it is not known how poorly her medical care was and the other doctors don't want to take her becasue they don't want to make her original physicians look bad. She is currently hiring a lawyer to fight for her patient rights and that she be given the best care possible and to rule out any malpractice that may have occured. What a horrid situation. Not being able to recieve proper care you deserve because of physicians egos.
