I feel like a dwarf is playing bongos on my brain

My head is pounding. It started a couple of hours ago. I took some Tylenol but it hasn't kicked in yet, or at least I don't think it has.
I get these horrid headaches sometimes, and I can usually feel them beginning to creep up on me before they have shown their full force. Not quite migrains, but close to it.
I hate feeling like I have a jackhammer going to town in my skull. I find myself not being able to fully participate with normal doings of life, instead I just want to sit, relax and maybe listen to music till it pasts. Then again maybe they are migrains. I do find myself being somewhat taken back by intense whites and bright lights. It kind of hurts to look at the new entry screen right now.
Hmph... I think I'll turn off the lights and kick back for a bit right now. I hope it goes away soon are at least ease up because I'm hoping to go out here in a little bit with some friends and I want to be able to enjoy myself fully rather than half ass it due to some cranial throbbage. I know that is not a word but it's my word so deal. heheh. later
