When cloths attack
at 3:04 p.m. on 2004-08-08
I had gotten out of the shower and was getting dressed when I was attacked. I was pulling my shirt over my head and heading towards the bathroom to put on some makeup when I suddenly felt a sharp intense pain in my heel like something just sunk its teeth into me. I stumble forward and feel something long and snake like drag behind me. I pull my foot up so I can have a look and there before me was my belt hanging from my foot. The prong off the buckle, which was about a quarter inch long and about the size of a ten or eight gauge (for all of you that know anything about needles or piercings) and hooked at a 45 degree angle, had embedded itself all the way in my heel.
I yanked the bugger out and hurled it across the room and proceeded to hop down the hallway to find my roommate. He helped me to the kitchen and grabbed me some paper towels and peroxide. We didn't have any bandaids so he went to the store real quick and got me some. (that was very sweet of him) X marks spot right in the middle of my heel since I crossed two bandaids on my foot. After I was all bandaged up I went back into my room, grabbed my little offender and is now wearing it as a trophy on my waist where it belongs.
