Hey I'm finally writting again Yay at 10:06 p.m. on 2004-05-22 It's been way too long since I've written. Lots has been going on... I finished all my final *dance with joy* I have the next two weeks till I start my summer classes. It's all senarios and extrication. We've been promised that we will get to use the heavy equipment to hack up cars. Just let me at the Jaws Of Life hehe. The next two weeks I'll be getting ready for my firend's bridal shower. I will also be going to San Diego to go to a dinner party for my boyfirend's best friend's wedding. I'm just glad to get out of town for a couple of days. I got a call from my gal Elaine today. She told me that she will be getting married in August and wants me there. Sheesh I see a trend here. Must me something in the water. One of my classmates is geeting married in two weeks as well. Ok what else... oh yeah... My dad is going in for surgery on the first of June. He was told to go give his own blood a month in advance so that if he needs it they can give it to him during his surgey. He's anaemic and will most likely need the blood, but they wanted to charge him $400 to do so. They also said that if someone else wanted to donate for him that it would be for free. Well, I happen to be his same blood type and I was asked to do so. I could never say no to him so I went down and donated a few days ago. I was a complete wreck until they put the needle in. I always get extremely nervous when I have to have blood drawn. I hate being poked with sharp objects. After that it wasn't that bad even though my whole arm was achy. The worst part was having to sit there for 35 mins with a needle in my arm, but I got through it and I'm quite proud of myself for having it done. At least with my blood that if my dad doesn't use it they will save it for someone else who needs it. Another event that happened was someone tried to steal my roomy's cat. He's a very pretty kitty so i'm not that surprised. He dissapeared for two days and came back without his collar. He's front paws were messed up and my roomy was worried that he got hurt in a fight or some person hurt him. I got a closer look at him and realised that he had been declawed. How messed up is that. I am almost certain that someone nabbed him took the collar off and declawed him, but somehow he got out and came back home. Freakin theif! Well that cat's is an indoor kitty now. He cries in frount of the door to go out. Poor thing. Little does he know that he's on house arrest permanantly. I just hope they didn't neuter him too. He's a purebreed with papers and my roomy was really hoping to stud him out. He still hasn't taken the cat to the vet to find out what exactly has been done to him which has been against my advice. Ray and I seem to take care of this cat more than he does. He's never home and that poor cat is so attention starved. Good thing he has Ray, Bailey (the dog) and I to be around. I went to the end of the semester party at one of my classmate's house two days ago. We had a blast. Almost everyone from class made it. My left leg is a little messed up from the party. Notrhing big. Just some scraps, cuts and bruises. I had a little bit too much fun on the slip & slide. The classmate has a huge backyard that is for the most part all dirt with the expection of the pool area. We set of the slide right in the middle of the yard and went to town. I was the only female that had the guts to goof off on it. One other girl went once and gave up after landing hard on her ass. Hahaha. We tried all sortf os ways to go sliding down this damn contraption. One of the guys wou'd run and jump onto his back, curl up and do a few 360's. He called it his tribute to 80's break dancing. I didn't do anything that spactacular. I just would run and go surf style and see if I can stay standing the entire time. I would have to jump at the end to avoid doing a face plant into the dirt. I only fell once. It was sliding on my knees that cut me all up. To make things more interesting we added baby oil to the slip & slide along with water, so I was really surprised that none of us killed ourselves on this thing. There was only one thing that went horribly wrong at the party. I lost one of my earings. Yeah I know it doesn't sound that bad, but it is. It happend to be one of my star sapphire earings. I didn't notice it was going till I got up the next day. I checked the entire room and all the way back to my truck. No luck. I called the gal that hosted the party but she hasn't found it yet. I pray that she does. My parents gave me those and I would feel so awful if I really lost it for good. I already feel sink just thinking about it. I loved those earings and they are not insured so I screwed if they are not found. At least I still have the one, but that really doesn't offer any comfort. It's really blows to lose something expensive like that especially when it's a gift. |
