Shake it like a salt shaker at 9:51 p.m. on 2004-03-10 I'm still running my ass off. I did have some fun this week, however. I also have a splitting headache so I apologize if things seem a little out of order or scattered. My friend came in from Southern California. I played tour guide on the strip and took her to a bunch of the hotels. It had been cold out here till she come into town. Then BAM!!! heat wave. So far this week the temp has been around the 80's. Made things a little muggy while walking around outside for extended periods of time. My friend that came into town and my other friend Tipsy have the same birthday which was on Tuesday. Didn't know this till we went to the Rum Jungle for Tipsy's party on Monday. So Tipsy shared the lime light with her and considered it a party for two. We didn't do much drinking due to the prices but we danced the entire night. We couldn't get Ray or any of the other guys for that matter to dance and it took my Cali friend half the night to get her fiancee on the dance floor as well. Tipsy was so distraught that he had to dance with four attractive girls by himself. Oh yeah poor guy. =P~ I got to say Tipsy has some moves too. It was the first time I actually got to see him dance and I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little impressed. I was also surprised that he stayed and danced with us instead of out flirting with all the single girls. Tipsy is very good looking and a rather charming guy who really has no problem getting any girl he wants. I guess he didn't feel like flirting or something. It was kind of sweet that he would rather hang out with us. Besides dancing with Tipsy us girls were dancing a lot with each other too. I noticed a lot of eyes on us while we danced. Not all that surprising. My friends are not exactly hideous beasts by any means. We didn't end up actually leaving till 3am. I was supposed to be at school by 9am but I didn't make it to my first class. I had never missed a class before and I think I earned a little time to have fun. It was a good stress reliever. Plus I haven't gotten to see my friend in 7 yrs or so. The next day I was beat. My calves were so sore. They would cramp up every time I took a step. I was still in a great mood though. So I spent the day smiling despite the throbbing pain in my legs. Life has turned pretty much back to normal now. My friend left to go back to Cali this afternoon and I've been doing homework and studying since yesterday. Back to the grind. bye for now |
