just some things at 9:32 p.m. on 2004-02-15 Lots of little stuff has been going on but nothing too major. I've been mostly getting ready to start doing my clinicals again. Greg is in Southern California. He left on wednesday and should be back tomorrow. He has called me a couple of times. It seems that he's been having a really great time out there. He called once from Huntington Beach while on the beach. He got me so jealous. I would love to be able to be out there. I would grab a camp site out there, build a fire and make s'mores with some friends. Greg is crazy about one the his friends out there and planned on letting her know. I think she beat him to it, however. She mentioned that there was not a girl good enough for him out here in Vegas, quickly said he was cute and ran off to go to bed. It made his week. I had a blast Friday night. Went out with some friends to one of the local dive bars. They had kareoke going and somehow Maddy and I ended up singing Sir Mix-a-lot "Baby got back". We were horrible, but we still got applauded for having the guts to go up there and try. I had called Ness to go out with us that night too and she told me that she might be too tired but she would call me back and let me know if she was going to go. She eventually called me back. She asked where we were and when I told her she said "Aww, that's too bad. I'm going to Pinkies. Maybe I'll meet you there later. Bye. " I found out later that she went with this guy that she had been crushing on, which is also the same guy that she "forgot the time" with when she was supposed to meet up with me and Katie. I would not have cared at all that she rain checked to go out with him if she had just said so, but she didn't tell me anything but where she was going. She felt guilty about it and apologized the next day. She had always been the one who complained about girls who run off and ditch their friends for a guy, and now she had started to be that person that annoyed her so much. I know she was thinking the same thing because when I talked to her she was trying to get me to promise not to hold it against her. I'm not going to, but I'm still a little peeved. She could have brought him along to hang out with us at least. I didn't do much for Valentines. Ray had to work. Wil and I went out to lunch that day and got some sushi. One of the guys there, thought we were a couple. Honest mistake. I spent the rest of the day lounging around and waiting for Ray to get off work. We decided to go out for dinner. We had such a tough time. The first place we went to was going to close in 15 mins and we didn't want to have them sit us when we knew they would want to go home. Then we got to the secound place and were seated, but we sat there with no one coming up to us. We were there for over 15 mins and no one even asked us what we would like to drink. So we finally just got up and left. We ended up just going into one of the near by casinos and eating that their Cafe. We had to wait about a half an hour to get a table, because they were really busy. The food was good and we were just happy to finally eat something. We had also planned on seeing a movie but it was way too late after dinner was done because it took us about an extra hour and a half than we had expected. Not exactly the most romantic Valentines. I'll talk about more things later Bye for now |
