I came home to a flood

at 4:52 p.m. on 2004-01-31

I took the fire exam and I have to wait about 2 weeks before I know how I did.

School has been keeping me busy. I already have lots of homework. I'm going to try and get most of my reading done tonight.

The water heater broke last night and flooded our back room. Wil and I cleaned the mess up. Greg decided he wanted to take a shower despite the fact that there was no hot water. So he showered and complained about how cold it was while Wil and I were drenched trying to ring out the towels and get the rest of the mess. Yeah thanks for the help A$$hole. Well, Ness was coming over and he wanted to freshen up, which was way more important than the fact that there was water an inch deep on the floor. The part of the room that was flooded was linolium and concrete, but the bottom of the cabinets were wet too. I don't think that there is very much water damage, but that is because we cleaned it up just after it happened.

Having to take cold showers when it is cold in the house and feezing outside is not a pleasant experience. Wil is calling the landord to come and replace it. I just wonder how long it is going to take before we get the new water heater.

I'm washing towels right now, so I'm going to take off.

bye for now
