The weekend

Ack. My stomache is in knots. Tomorrow is the last day before school. I also have the fire exam in three days. I'm so nervous. I'm terrified of comepletely bombing the test. I've been studying but I don't have all of the necessary resources. I'm missing a book that they get all the information for the test. I got a letter in the mail about ordering stuff to prepare for the test. I had thought that it would have the study guid with it but I only got practice tests. Most of the questions are going to be pretty much the same as the practice exams, but I still would have liked the actual book. I know that I can always retake the test next time, but it is still nerve racking. It would be such an ego boost to make it on the first try, because most do not. The worst part is that I know I definately would have if I didn't goof off. I only have myself to blame for that though.

Friday night I went by the hospital and saw my dad. He was doing better than expected and they let him go home instead of keeping him for the weekend. He still complains that he's extremely sore but that's to be expected. Aftrewards I met Greg, Tripps and Ness over at the Champaign Cafe. It's a little dive bar, but a fun place to hangout. I tried to get Ray to go with but he had to work in the morning and didn't want to be out late. They had kareoke there and the same guy was singing for our entire stay. We kept trying to get Greg to go up there but he refused. Greg was the only one of us that could go sing and not scare off all the customers. I told him that he should sing "Mac the knife". It was too bad that he had never heard of the song. Ugh, today's youth... Hahaha. We talked about a lot of things but the conversation kept turning sexual in manner. Tripps kept trying to make it sound like he was god in bed. Ness and I mostly just laughed. Ness asked him if he even knew where the clitoris was and I guess he got offended because he wouldn't talk to her anymore. Greg and I laughed so hard that we were in tears. We started to talk about fantasies and Greg mentioned that he had never gotten to do anything he had wanted. Then he quickly said something about him having a deal with a girl at one point to do something that actually never got to happen. I giggled and said that I remebered that and he seemed surprised and a little embarrased. He had forgotten he had told me. Of course, Ness tried to drag it out of us but couldn't get us to spill. Greg still doesn't believe that he told me, but I reminded him that this was back when we were hanging out, just the two of us, almost everyday. It was very cute how red Greg got when he realized I knew. When we left, Greg was hungery but I had already eaten and Tripps was falling asleep, so Tripps and I went home and Ness and Greg went to eat. Ness and Greg got back after a while and everyone was tired so we went off to bed. Well, Tripps normally stays in Greg's room on an air mattress but had passed out on the couch. Ness stayed over and went into Greg's room which is pretty normal, but no one got much sleep in that room that night. I couldn't resist giving Greg a hard time the next day. We have pretty thin walls here and I'm a light sleeper. Hahaha.

Saturday I did laundry and spent time with my parents. The day was pretty boring. Today wasn't all that exciting either. We just hung around the house. Tripps finally brought his cat over from Texas. The dog wants to play with the cat but the cat does not want to play with the dog. That was pretty much the entertainment for the day. Bailey took a claw to the nose so he's still curious about the kittie but doesn't try to get as close anymore. He's ok it's just a scratch.
