Today was not my day at 5:24 p.m. on 2004-01-06 Hmph... I have a virus on my computer. Now I have to wipe everything clean and start all over again. What a pain! It wasn't even me who got the virus. Someone else was using my pc and got it for me. How lovely huh. I have my ideas who it was and I'm a little pissed off now. They had their own pc to screw up, why mine? I'm going to have to be strict about who and for what my pc is being used for. The guys are the ones that helped me build this computer, so I feel bad having to set limits but I need to. I'm going to lose all the pictures and music that I saved on here, not to mention the school work I have done. I'm just glad that there's nothing super important here. If I did I would be out for blood. I'm not in a great mood today, if you couldn't already tell. I was up late with Vanessa and Lunchbox having a few drinks and shooting the breeze. Vanessa spent the night and woke me up this morning, so I didn't get very good sleep. On top of that I had to go to the dentist for a cleaning. The good news is that I have great teeth, bad news was that I was stuck there for 2 1/2 hours. I don't know why I bother to get to my appointments on time. They left me sitting there for another 45 mins. I went in had everything done and all I needed was the dentist to give the ok, and he kept me waiting another half an hour. He went in and gave another patient who came in about 20 mins after I did the ok to leave before he even came over to see me. Then I find out about the damn virus on my computer. I should have just kicked Vanessa out of the room and went back to bed. Oh there's more. Since we had friends over last night the parking around our house wasn't very good. We live on a cul de sac and some of the neighbors park perpendicular to the sidewalk. I never park that way, except for last night, because there was no room and I had no choice. Of course, one of are neighbors, who also happen to park all the time the way I did last night calls 911 this morning and an ambulance is dispatched to the house. A fire engine responds too. They have a heck of a time getting into the cul de sac because of the way some of the vehicles are parked. Then again it's a small cul de sac and would have had a hard time no matter what. Anyways... one of the firemen comes over to us, because some of us are outside having a smoke, and begins to lecture us about the parking. He completely ignored me when I said we don't park that way, that the street was full and I didn't want to block anyone in. He even talked over me while I was trying to explain and apologise. It was so disrespectful. Ray talks to him after my failed attempt and of course he listens to Ray. I think it was the fact that Ray was in uniform and I was in a pullover and basketball shorts (I had just woke up and hadn't gotten out of my PJ's yet). I wanted to punt kick that guy. I bet he didn't even mention a word to the people who placed the call and had multiple vehicles that way, nor did he go over and say anything to the other neighbors. He was so rude and unprofessional. I wanted to tell him that I know exactly what he talks about, and I how I do the same thing he does, that I just don't a fire engine, and he is going about informing us in a completely wrong manner, but I held my tongue. He didn't care what I said the first time. Why would he the second time. I was just some girl to him. A$$hole. Sorry about all the negativity. I needed to vent. I hope I don't work with that guy when I get on the fire department. Hope everyone else had a better day than I Bye for now |
