Winter wonder land

I have a lot to go over. One of the first things, and the whole reason of not writing in a few days was that Greg passed on his lovely flu to me. It has slowly made it's way through the whole house. The only ones who did not get it was Ray and Wil. It is not the greatest thing to have hungover Oregon boys getting sick all over the place. Thank goodness that it is only a 24 hour bug. I would have been pissed at Greg if I was sick for New Years.

The oddest thing happened a couple of days ago. It was extremely cold for Christmas, but all it did was rain all day. I had been talking about how it was too bad that it didn't snow, even though it only snows in Vegas about once or twice a decade. Well, it started raining here and since I was too ill to fall asleep, I just listened to the rain while feeling miserable. After awhile the sound of rain faded away and I assumed the rain had past. I finally got up for a drink of water in the kitchen. I look into my backyard and see nothing but white. This was only about an hour after the rain stopped. It was snowing pretty good outside. The yards were white, the palm trees, cars, street and roofs were all white. I forgot I was sick for a few minutes. Wil and the Oregon crew had gone out to party, and had finally gotten home by cab. Wil had to go retrieve his car later the next day from the casino he had left it at. They were smashed. Wil keep exclaiming that "this does not happen in Vegas" over and over again. Then he took a picture with the cab driver. They all went a little camera happy at that moment. They all got a couple shots of snow and somehow got me to take a picture with them. I don't know why they wanted a picture with me. I had not been able to even hold down water all night and now it's 4:00 am, I have no makeup, I'm pale and my hair was just a fluff ball. Oh yeah capture me in all my glory. Eh, I did it anyways and managed to smile too. Anyways... the snow lasted for a fair amount of the day, but finally started to fade way. I didn't have a camera unfortunately, but I'll get over it. The nieborhood kids built snowmen and even I threw around some globs of snow. I mostly just admired it from indoors though. I still was not as well as I would have liked to have been. Still a good day all in all.

Actually I'm going to save New Years for another entry. There is too many things to talk about and I'm still too hungover.

Happy Years!!! 2004!! Ok I'm done being giddy

Bye for now
